Amy Edmonson is a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in Mat and Reformer with completion in the Injuries and Special Populations course work. She first came to Pilates with hopes it would help relieve chronic pain caused by Fibromyalgia. After committing to a consistent practice she noticed a reduction in not only the frequency of flare-ups but also the intensity. She now believes the balance of postural corrections, muscle strengthening, and active stretching assists in the reduction of pain levels. Through her own experiences, Amy easily empathizes with others living with chronic pain.
